I decided I had to begin putting pen to paper and just create! I have to begin somewhere! I was inspired to do this one with Pelikan Edelstein Amber ink with the intention of sending it to an FPN member. Amberlea was pleasantly surprised by my swatch of Amber in my Bexley 802 B binderized. I am inspired by Amberlea's doodles too!
Inks used: Pelikan Edelstein Amber for the leaves and curlicues, Noodler's Widowmaker and Organics Studio Purpillusion for the flowers and Noodler's Antietam for the large doodle.

Thoughts on Jewelry this year ...
What I accomplished this year:
- I sold Happiness2 and October Harvest!
- I sold one of my "Verde" rings and Costa del Sol!
- I was commissioned my first ankle bracelet and sold it (will try to get a photo from client)
Half the year is gone now. I'd like to begin the creative process again. Lakshmi has mentioned she'd also like to return to the craft.
Inpiration:
- My "clients" - well, there are 3 of them.
- This includes the mother of one of my former colleagues. By sheer luck, we bumped into them this past weekend! Mrs. S. pointed me in the direction of etsy.com. She loves her jewelry. I really must take this opportunity to expand. Why not?
- Me. I ought to develop my skills as I have a feel and appreciation for it. I love working with metal. Must not let the creative process get away from me.

Still on Cooking ...
This was brunch a few weeks ago - Almond french toast with multigrain bread with flaxseeds. I love confectioner's sugar and this time I added sliced peaches. Yum!
The photo has two mini pitchers that I brought back from Bogota - from Andres Carnes de Res restaurant specifically! Love them, but haven't gotten myself to use them yet. Pretty aren't they?

Cooking infrequently but doing it more often!

I love cooking. I have yet to progress into creating my own dishes, but I love clipping recipes from health magazines! If I'm not creating, at least the recipes I find inspire me to continue cooking - and that's important!
My favorite dish of late because it's fast, easy, YUMMY and fairly healthy:
Coconut Shrimp Stir-Fry! (Shrimp, mixed veggies, brown basmatic rice!, light coconut milk and garnish with chopped cashews)
Sorry, only a stove top photo is available. Since I made this at night, I just don't have the appropriate "food" lighting necessary to play up its delicious-ness!
